The University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign (UIUC) has a rich history of research in individuals with multiple sclerosis (MS). Currently here are around 20 faculty across campus researching various aspects of MS ranging from neuroimaging, rehabilitation, demyelination, and immunology. Since 2013 these faculty have been awarded over 25 grants totaling $8.6 million focusing on MS.
